The Fenix C20 Complete Road Bike is built to be the ultimate middle man in your cycling operation. It’s not as aerodynamic as the top-end Noah, but it weighs 170 grams less. It’s also not as light as the feathery Helium, but it’s a much smoother ride. In short, the Fenix C20 is the middle ground of Ridley’s line of bikes in all categories but one: comfort. Its unparalleled ride quality turns harsh roads to butter without sacrificing a watt of power. To keep you in the saddle all day, the Fenix C20 uses a vibration devouring blend of 30- and 24-ton unidirectional carbon fibers as opposed to the 50- to 60-ton moduli favored in only-weight-is-important frames. Potholes, cobblestones, and other road hazards are as smooth as crosswalk paint on the Fenix, but they may feel like taking repeated hammer blows to the kidneys on 60-ton carbon. The C20’s oversized bottom bracket and burly chainstays mean comfort doesn’t come at the cost of efficiency, though. If you ever get tired of wantonly running over obstacles, the stiff, tapered head tube nets responsive steering to dodge through debris with ease. The C20’s kit is a respectable affair all around, and it continues the theme of putting ride quality above flair. The Shimano 105 drivetrain and crankset deserve some special attention. Completely re-imagined for 2015, the new 105 boasts 11-speeds and a four-arm crankset. Evidently, it’s been dipping into the trickle-down basket and is enjoying some Ultegra technology. You’ll certainly enjoy the responsive shifting and incredible power transfer through the crankset, which is further highlighted by the Fulcrum Racing 7 LG wheelset. The Fenix’s frame means you won’t feel the road, but this mix of components means the road is certainly going to feel you.

Are ready for longer rides, but need a balance of comfort and performance? The Kestrel RT-1000 is a great choice for endurance road riders who like to stretch out their mileage on the weekends, ride Gran Fondos, or who simply want a fast bike, but without the aggressive body position. The Kestrel RT-1000 105 road bike features a full carbon frame and fork, Shimano 105 11-speed components, and Oval Concepts 527 wheels. A close cousin to the Kestrel Legend, but with more relaxed geometry, the RT-1000 boasts Kestrel’s aerodynamic DNA and is, therefore, plenty fast; yet offers greater comfort over longer distances. The geometry features a taller head tube that puts the rider in a more upright position to ease back fatigue, a longer wheelbase that increases stability, and a slightly sloping top tube that allows the rider to mount and dismount more easily. The RT-1000 is constructed of Kestrel’s Enhanced Modulus Hybrid EMH carbon; a combination of 800K and 700K carbon fibers. It’s lightweight and stiff, yet also designed to offer a bit more compliance. A tapered head tube enhances lateral stiffness for excellent steering precision. Shimano 105 11-speed components bring efficiency and ergonomics to the RT-1000, along with the versatility of a Shimano 105 compact crankset. Oval Concepts 527 wheels and Vittoria Zaffiro Pro 25c wide tires deliver dependable performance and grip. A set of Shimano 105 brakes supply dependable braking performance and a ZIPP Service Course finishing kit make the Legend shine like no other.Features: Kestrel Enhanced Modulus Hybrid EMH carbon frame and tapered fork Shimano 105 11-speed components Oval Concepts 527 aero rims ZIPP Service Course bar and stem Each of the frame sizes has unique tube lengths, diameters, shapes, and carbon layups to produce the best possible ride quality for every size rider

This is the Kestrel Legend Ultegra Road Bike. At a mere 780 grams, the brand-new Kestrel Legend is the lightest frame The First Name in Carbon Fiber has ever produced. Made of ultra high-modulus carbon fiber with a remarkable weight-to-stiffness ratio, the Legend’s Kestrel EMS fork and H-stays provide compliance, comfort, and improve lateral stiffness; the proprietary tapered head tube enhances steering precision and front-end stiffness; and asymmetrical chainstays offset drivetrain-induced torque on the rear triangle. Features: Featherweight 780 grams – lightest frame Kestrel has ever produced Ultra high-modulus and high-strength carbon fiber with ground-breaking weight-to-stiffness ratio PU inner molds supply smoother inner walls, an increase in stiffness, better compaction, minimized wrinkles, and optimized resin content EPS foam forming used in the manufacturing of the fork provides better layup in the crown area for improved compaction and resin content Kestrel EMS fork and H-stays provide compliance, comfort, and improve lateral stiffness Proprietary tapered head tube enhances steering precision and front-end stiffness Asymmetrical chainstays offset drivetrain-induced torque on the rear triangle Size-specific frame for each frame size. Larger frames use slightly larger diameter tubing for increased stiffness for larger riders. Downtube and top tube wrap around the head tube for increased front-end stiffness, which aids in steering precision. Shorter head tube for competition geometry and an aggressive riding position that pro-level competitors demand BB30 is 18 stiffer than the RT-900
